Victoria Park drinking fountain credit Andrew Davison

The most magnificent drinking fountain of all, presented in 1862 to Victoria Park, East London, by Miss Angela Burdett Coutts, heir to the banking family. Photo by Andrew Davison

Very tall octagonal canopy with Gothic arches, in a mixture of coloured stones, standing on a stepped base. A central column has statues of cherubs set in niches.
