
The Former Gateway House, Basingstoke, Hampshire, designed by Arup Associates and listed Grade II. Built in 1974-76, this distinctive building was a bespoke design for a firm relocating out of London. Known locally as the ‘Hanging Gardens of Basingstoke’, the cascading roof terraces were landscaped by James Russell and have also been added to the Register of Parks and Gardens © James O.
